Referral programs compared
Most "promo code" pages copy each other. This table comes from each brand's own terms, and every cell with a check mark was confirmed against the brand's site today.
The biggest difference between referral programs is who actually benefits. Some give the new customer a real discount, some only pay the person referring, and several hold the reward for weeks or until a minimum spend clears. Read the "new customer gets" column first.
| Program | New customer gets | Referrer gets | Minimum | When it pays |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QuinceShopping | $20 off Verified Oct 24 | $20 in rewards points | $100 first order | After the friend's order |
| ClassPassFitness | 14-day free trial with 4 more workouts than the regular trial offer Check pending | A reward once the friend becomes a paying subscriber; the amount is not published in the help center | Friend must start a paid credit-based membership; the trial alone does not count | In the subscription month after the friend's payment, typically 7 to 14 days later |
| MaticHome | Annual Bag Pass (a full year of HEPA bags with free shipping), listed at $120 Verified Oct 24 | $100 in store credit per referred friend | Applies to a Matic order; the robot starts at $1,495 | Store credit for the referrer; timing is not stated |

How to read referral terms
- Check who the reward is for. A program can be generous to the referrer and give the new customer nothing beyond the normal intro offer.
- Look for the minimum. Many rewards only trigger above an order size, measured before tax and after other discounts.
- Check stacking. Referral credits often can't be combined with a sale, so a big sale can be worth more than the referral.
- Mind the clock. Rewards that land after a return window or a paid month are designed to pay only for customers who stay.
